Today we present you an easy, fun and daring recipe to serve as a starter or appetizer at any meal. The usual gratin with an extra touch.
The night before we defrost Antonio and Ricardo’s two bags of frozen broccoli and cauliflower. If you cannot do this step you can use them frozen, but remember to keep them in the oven for longer at a lower temperature.
Likewise, at least two hours before the meal, place four tablespoons of oil in a container with a clove of garlic cut into cubes and cayenne and pepper to taste, depending on how spicy we want our dish. This will allow the oil to absorb the essences of the spices and give it greater flavor and strength.
We take out the packages and cut the broccoli and cauliflower into small pieces, about half a fist, and distribute them evenly on a baking tray.
We season it with the oil that we have prepared previously and add salt to taste.
We cover the entire surface with plenty of cheese and bake in the oven at 200º or until the cheese is golden and crispy without burning.
