We are committed to maximum quality and Food Safety Management, certified by the BRCGS FOOD and IFS FOOD standards, two of the most prestigious and demanding food safety models currently in existence and recognized by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).
These standards have been developed to specify the safety, authenticity, quality and performance criteria necessary to meet the obligations in terms of compliance with legislation and consumer protection, evaluating the company’s facilities, operating systems and procedures.
Being MSC certified means you comply with the world’s most recognized sustainability benchmark: the MSC Fisheries Standard and your catch can be sold with the blue MSC label.
The MSC Fisheries Standard is based on the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) code of conduct for responsible fishing.
The raw materials obtained comply with the correct ethical, social and environmental sustainability parameters.
We currently have the MSC seal on the following products: Octopus – Tuna – Swordfish – Chilean Seabass.
This standard was first developed and published in 1998 by the British Retail Consortium and is the leading GFSI certification scheme in the UK. Many retailers globally prefer their first-tier suppliers to hold a BRCGS food safety certificate, which is regularly updated to reflect the latest developments in food safety, and the BRCGS standard is now being updated to reflect the latest developments in food safety.
For the third year in a row, we have been awarded the Flavor of the Year seal by consumers for our star product, cooked octopus.
The first version of the IFS Standard was created in 2003 by the German Federation of Distributors and its French counterpart (Federation des Entreprises du Commerce et de la Distribution), which developed a common food safety and quality standard.
This first version of the Standard was designed to certify suppliers producing private label food products for distribution.
The Group holds this certificate, which it also requires of all its supplier-assemblers.
It is the leading certification standard for products and services that respect and protect the marine environment. It certifies sustainable practices in fishing and aquaculture.
