700 g (1.8 lb) boiled octopus
300 g (10.5 oz) beans
1 onion
1 green pepper
300 g (10.5 oz) pumpkin
3 garlic cloves
1 dl of olive oil
¼ l (1 cup) of fish broth
Coriander leafs
Salt
Put the beans in cold water to soak for 8 hours (pic. 1). Strain a place in a saucepan with the pealed and chopped onion. Cover with cold water and add salt to taste. When the water boils, keep cooking for 40 minutes. Chop the green pepper, peal and cut the garlic in slim layers. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic cloves and the green pepper. Add the pealed and chopped pumpkin and keep cooking for 10 minutes. Add the strained beans, the chopped octopus, the fish broth and the vegetables (pic. 2). Mix gently and add salt and pepper to taste. Give a boil and serve with a pinch of coriander.
